Maribeth Theroux is a poet and performer based in South Orange, New Jersey. She's the founder of the SOMA Network, a community arts organization devoted to creating opportunities for artists and the arts in and around South Orange and Maplewood, NewJersey.
Maribeth's work mines the absurdities, joys, and pains of life. She's currently writing a novel inspired by her experience of discovering her autism and ADHD at 39-years-old. The novel is titled The Barnacle. She's also the author of a chapbook of poems titled Waiting to Be Eaten.
